About this tool
Places text over a video, burning subtitles, titles, or on-screen explanations into the picture. Files never leave the browser.
When to use it
- —Adding a title at the start of a video
- —Adding short explanations so it makes sense watched without sound
- —Labeling an element visible in the frame
Good to know
- —Burned-in text cannot be removed or corrected later, so keep the original.
- —If the video may need translating, use a separate subtitle file (SRT) instead of burning text in.
- —Make text large enough and contrasted against the background so it reads on small screens.
