About this tool
Adjusts the video's audio level between 0x and 3x. Use it to rescue quietly recorded sound, or to bring background music down. Files never leave the browser.
When to use it
- —Lifting a video where the voice was recorded too quietly
- —Lowering background music that covers speech
- —Producing a silent version with the audio removed
Good to know
- —Pushing the level too far makes the sound crackle and break up, and that distortion cannot be undone.
- —Raising the level raises background noise too; if noise is bad, treat the audio separately.
- —Setting 0x removes the sound entirely.
