About this tool
Extracts a specified page range from a PDF into a new file. Use it to lift the part you need out of a thick document. Files never leave the browser.
When to use it
- —Taking a few pages out of a long document to quote
- —Selecting only the pages to submit as evidence
- —Separating several documents that share one file
Good to know
- —An extract loses its surrounding context, so tell the recipient which range it covers.
- —Page numbers here count position in the file, not the printed numbers.
- —Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
