About this tool
Extracts a page range from a PDF and saves it as a separate file. Use it to send only the relevant part of a thick document. Files never leave the browser.
When to use it
- —Sending one department only the chapters that concern them
- —Pulling just the signature pages out of a contract
- —Separating several scanned documents that ended up in one file
Good to know
- —Keeping only some pages strips the surrounding context, so tell the recipient which range they are getting.
- —Page numbers here count position in the file, not the printed page numbers.
- —Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
