About this tool
Places a signature you draw with a mouse or finger anywhere on a PDF, skipping the print-sign-scan cycle. Processing stays inside the browser, so neither the document nor the signature is transmitted.
When to use it
- —Signing a simple consent or acknowledgment form to return immediately
- —Handling signed paperwork where no printer or scanner is available
- —Adding a signature to the last page of a multi-page document
Good to know
- —A drawn signature is only an image and differs from a legally recognized digital signature backed by PKI. Check what form the other party requires.
- —A signature image can be copied and pasted onto other documents, so be careful sharing files that contain one.
- —For important contracts, a service that follows your jurisdiction's e-signature rules is safer.
