About this tool
Adjusts brightness, contrast, and saturation, and converts to black and white. Use it to rescue an underexposed photo or bring a set of images to a consistent look. Changes preview live and the photo never leaves your device.
When to use it
- —Lifting the brightness of a photo shot indoors and too dark
- —Matching the color of several shots taken in the same place
- —Unifying photos to black and white for a document
Good to know
- —Raising brightness a lot reveals blotchy noise in the shadows; badly underexposed originals have limits.
- —Over-saturating pushes skin tones red and makes skies look artificial.
- —Highlights already blown to pure white will not return by lowering contrast.
