About this tool

When to use it

Good to know
- —Large shifts sound unnatural; within three or four semitones stays believable.
- —Because pitch moves while speed is held, big shifts can introduce a faint warble.
- —A pitch shift leaves much of a voice's character intact and is not sufficient to conceal identity.
