About this tool
Recognizes speech in audio and produces timed SRT or VTT subtitle files. The Whisper model runs inside your browser, so the file is never uploaded.
When to use it

Good to know
- —Timings and line breaks are a draft; lines that run long or fall across a cut need manual adjustment.
- —Proper nouns and numbers are often wrong, so check them before publishing.
- —Longer videos take longer to process, and the first run needs to download the model.
